Whether you’re a seasoned runner who enjoys participating in running events, or you just want to make a difference to someone’s life, taking part in a charity event will give you the pleasure that you are looking for.

Run, Walk or Jog

Some of us are not fortunate enough to be ultra-fit, yet we want to make a difference.  The advantage with a lot of charity events is that you don’t have to run them to win, you can join as a group and have fun as you walk the route, those that want to be a little adventurous can jog and the fitness fanatics can run full steam ahead to the finish.

Make it Fun

A great family day out is a walk or jog at running events.  You’re making a change in someone’s life that needs it most, making you feel good about yourself and you don’t have to exhaust yourself completely when you do it.

Make it fun; get work colleagues and family members to join you on your quest. Dress up and act silly as you do the right thing and make a change to someone’s life.  Have a laugh as you try and run part of the way, panting in exhaustion as you continue at a leisurely walk.

Anyone can join and that is the fun part, it’s a fun day out for everyone as you challenge each other, walk along and make the most of the fresh air and applauding crowd.
